mmmm...monday!

There's nothing better than a breakfast casserole. I took a friends recipe and combined it with a little easier recipe I found here and we totally devoured it for Easter brunch. Here you have it...

Easy Sausage Breakfast Casserole


1 lb of ground pork sausage
1 teaspoon of mustard powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt
4 eggs beaten
2 cups of milk
6 slices of white bread, cut into cubes (I actually used 8 slices of wheat bread)
2 cups of Cheddar Cheese
1/4 teaspoon of grated onion
1/2 teaspoon of Worcestershire

Brown sausage and drain well. In a very large mixing bowl, combine sausage, bread, eggs, milk and remaining ingredients; stir well. Generously butter 9x13x2 inch baking dish. Pour mixture into dish; cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake, uncovered, at 300 for 1.5 hrs.
