I think I might have received a compliment from my two year old tonight. After a long day at home full of wining, fighting, snacking, napping, snacking and wining he came up to me while I was cleaning up a disastrous dinner and said in his oh so sweet little voice
"mommy, will you play soccer ball with with me? You're not always mean!"
I wasn't really sure how to react, except to say thank you and go play soccer ball. I'm sure he meant it in the best possible way, right?
Such is the life of motherhood...it's delightful!
