worrying does not empty tomorrow of its troubles; it empties today of its strength.

{so true. this really resonated with me today. when i am going through all the "what if scenarios" or doubting myself or rather jesus' plan for me...i am lacking trust. trust that he loves me enough, will provide for me, has a plan that is greater than anything i can hope, dream, or imagine. he has me in his hands. i want to focus on that rather than the thoughts, the worrisome thoughts, that sin and satan place in my head and in my heart. trusting eliminates worrying. where there is trust, worry can not survive. -j}
