being...

This past weekend my hubby and I had an amazing, quit trip to Charlottesville, VA with our bestest friends. One of our last high school friends got married and we were thrilled to be able to celebrate with he and his beautiful fiance. Time away with adults is so precious as a parent and thanks to a wonderful mother in law aka "nana" and a great friend/babysitter, we were able to have time together with just our friends. These times are so few and far between that the hubby and I both feel like we just want to soak it up as much as possible. We stayed up way too late as if we were still in college, drank a fair amount, laughed a ton, packed a hotel room and a car with as many peeps as possible, did a little touring and just had a blast.
Lifelong friends are incredibly precious and we never want to take for granted the blessing our high school friends are to us. We are so thankful for their consistency in our lives, being really known and loved, endless laughter and relationships that endure no matter the location, time or stage in life. We are truly blessed and really thankful for these friends who help our being...

Happy!
